Florida has to know who is filing. Send us three things and sign one agreement, and temp tags switch on for your dealership.

Temp tag questions
Does my dealership need to be set up with Florida first?
Yes. Your dealership enrolls once, from your account, and can issue tags as soon as the enrollment is active.
What do I need to print a temp tag?
A printer and Florida's temporary tag paper. You can order the paper in your account, and you tell us which paper is loaded so the tag prints in the right place.
What if Florida's system is down when the buyer is ready?
Give the buyer a pre-printed temporary tag, then report it in My Dealer Jacket once the system is back.
Can I undo a tag issued by mistake?
Yes, on the same day it was issued. After that day it can no longer be voided.
Is there anything to pay besides the tag itself?
Checking the vehicle and looking up customers with Florida is charged per record. The screen where you choose a tag or a transfer shows that price before you start, and checking the same VIN again isn't charged twice.
