To file, your dealership needs an active Florida registration — the same one you use for temp tags — and a one-time signed authorization that lets us file in your dealership's name. You can send requests while the authorization is in progress.

A quick estimate, not your quote
This is priced from a few answers. The quote in the app is built from the actual vehicle, and that's the number you approve. It can come out different, because it also asks about:
- The vehicle's exact weight and body type
- How the vehicle is used, such as a lease or for hire
- Trucks of 15,000 lb and up, trailers, RVs and boats
- The sale date, and Florida's late fee if it's past due
- Personalized and specialty plates
- Salvage and rebuilt titles, and titles printed on the spot or kept electronic

Tag & Title questions
Does Tag & Title change Florida's 30-day deadline?
No. Florida requires the title application to be filed within 30 days of delivering the vehicle, and that deadline stays yours. Send us the paperwork early enough to file in time — a late filing gets Florida's late penalty added to the quote.
How long does it take?
It depends on the state and the tag agency, so any timeframe is an estimate. The clock starts once we have everything we need from you, including originals you mail, so uploading early is the fastest thing you can do. Expedited service shortens the wait.
Can I send paperwork I already filled out?
Yes. Send your own completed paperwork or let us prepare it — the service fee is the same either way.
Does the buyer have to come back in to sign?
No. We prepare the forms and collect every signature online, so nobody has to come back in.
Do you need the original title?
Yes. Scan it into the request first so we can check it and lock your price. Once we confirm the scans, mail us the original title and any signed originals we ask for — you can buy a prepaid label from your credits. Nothing can be filed until they arrive.
Can I cancel a request?
Yes. Before a request is submitted to the tag agency, unused service fees go back to your credits. Once it's submitted, state and agency fees may not be refundable.
